1985 Euro Targa, Air cooled 3.2 with no modifications.
5 speed manual 915 gear box with euro spec. cooler. factory Sport seats and a new Targa top.
Recently ( 6 months ) I have replaced the tires, battery, hood struts, retrofitted the a/c to r134. The A/C is cold.
I have checked the plugs and air filter and the VR1 oil is fresh. Two of the oil lines from the thermostat to engine and oil tank were damp so I replaced both with new.
the overall condition of the paint is good for its age but the hood has been repainted and is not a perfect match due to the natural fading over time from UV.
There are 2 types of 915 transmissions. 1) has just been rebuilt or 2) has a soft first gear. This is the latter. Driven in a reasonable manner this will not be an issue.
The condition of the interior is remarkable however there is one small 1/2 inch crack in the dash.
The car has a clean Virginia title in the dealerships name. The title says actual miles and will be sold as such but as any Euro car that has had a Odo replacement it could vary. I purchased a Euro Carfax that had no record of this car so that is all I can say.

I have personally driven the car 500 plus miles this spring and it is delightful. I have address all needs that I am aware of. Buy today and drive tomorrow!
